removing rock

sooooo i want to remove my main piece of live rock with my remaining soft corals on it to transfer it to my class tank. it is however the biggest piece of live rock in my ten gallon... probably 7 of the 15 lbs. should i try to replace it as soon as i take it out or can i leave the tank without any ill effect? there is also 2 lbs per gallon of live sand so i wont loose all my biological filtration... and its still only the mandarin anyway so i doubt the bioload is that massive.

any tips?

Wouldn't the tank need it for the pod population? Especially for the Mandarin. :dunno:
