I have a Rio+1700 sump pump it use to work good but for reason it's starting to pump air bubbles and trash into the tank. I took it apart and it still doing it. wtf:sfish:

I have one as well. After I cleaned mine it pumped micro bubbles into the tank. I think because the rate had been slowed cause of build up. I added a bubble trap in the sump problem solved. I think the "trash" is coming from the pipe, the extra flow can blow out the loose algae. Just my thoughts

What is a bubble trap? Yeah think it's just bubbles

A bubble trap is a series of 3 baffles, staggered at 2 different heights. The water is forced to flow beneath the 2nd baffle, and since air rises, the bubbles get "trapped" at that point.

The 3 baffles on the right are the bubble trap.
