RO unit output

Hi everyone,
Just bought my first RO unit and unsure about its output levels. The unit is a 4 stage 50GPD RO/DI. I am getting a constant flow through the waste pipe but a drip every half second or so. Is this somewhere near to normal output?

Time how long it takes you to make a gallon, then see if it would be close to the 50 gallon per day.

For example, if it took half hour to make one gallon, then it would be 48 gallons per day.

Also, you main water pressure could be lower than the recommended amount.

Also, make sure you unwrapped the filters inside the housing. I only mention this because we had a member on here that bought a used unit where the previous owner didn't unwrap the filter cartridges.
