sargassum microvironment

I was researching hydroids and found some cool animals that live in these "floating mats". I have been dolphin fishing along the weed lines, but i never new how much wildlife lives in this stuff. Its amazing, and if you live in Florida you can find most of this stuff on the beach!

You probably couldnt keep much corals with a tank setup with these species, but it might make a nice specimen tank.:dunno:

yea we get this crap washing up here in texas and it absolutely ruins the surf fishing down on Padre Island National Seashore...

I've seen crabs, seahorses, fish, just aobut you name it, and if its small enough to hide, it does...
