i recently purchased a 125 gallon oceanic reef tank, close to 20 yrs old. I have the rocks in containers with powerheads to keep them alive, but the tank after cleaning has scratches from the rocks I assume and would like to fix them before starting the setup for my new tank. Does anyone know any tricks or have any tips for removing these? The scratches are not deep just surface scratches I cant even feel them with my fingernail, but I can see them while cleaning the tank out from months of neglect.

Not that I know of. You may be able to buff them out, but be careful.

Probably wont be able to see them that much when you have water in the tank.
+1 to Kyle. But, buffing can weaken the glass, and is a real hassle, but, if you know what you're doing. Worth a shot I guess.

my 90G has a few.....they won't be noticed after you setup the tank! only by you LOL
