I tripped yesterday and cracked my sump. :frustrat::sniffles: if i get the pieces to make me a refiguim today it will be sunday before it will be ready. or can i run the new sump with in 24 hours? :HELP!:

I started mine about 36 hours after silicone. Think the directions said 24.

now my tank has been up for 3 years will it still be okay

Your tank should be fine if you have a heater and water movement in the display. I would take my time and build the refugium the way you want it first. I have seen some very nice tanks that only had powerheads and coral for the filter. There is a very nice one on reefvideos.com I think in this hobby we have all rushed into things and wanted to kick our own butts in the end.

A few more days wont hurt anything.If your real worried,just do like a 30% water change.
