My hammer coral has three of these attached where the fleshy part ends on the stony part. Question is would this bother it much? It has not fully opened today and just noticed these on it and thought this could be why. Did see one on GSP when they were closed for a week. Says there reef-safe but wondered if anybody says any different.

They are reef safe, but I suppose that they could irritate corals if they got too close. You might want to remove the ones that are touching your corals.

I have several of those in my tank. none on the corals though. i'm with biff, I would remove the ones on corals.
