Sea Slug/Scallop food

I just purchased a sea slug and a scallop and I was told that they are filter feeders but I was never told specifically what they eat. Does anyone happen to know what I can feed these guys? I currently feed my fish frozen Mysis shrimp blocks, freeze dried crab granuals and Phyto Feast Phytoplankton.

Scallops are filter feeders. Some phytoplankton wsould suffice but be very careful and dont over do it because it will degrade your water quality. As far as the sea slug I would just let it scavage the bottom. It will help to get rid of waste on the bottom.

I've had my flame scallop for months and never fed him unless he's getting phyto that passes by when I occasionally feed my corals.

i personally would take the scallop back its gonna slowly starve. one of those creatures better left in the ocean.

What kind of sea slug did you get? There are tons of different types and they all eat different things.

Scallops are tuff to keep. I gave up on them.
