Allen,I used a calcium reactor for a while.Like Biff said,Unless you got a tank thats choked full of SPS corals,the reactor is more trouble than its worth.
You have to keep an extremely close eye on your calcium,alkalinity,and PH.It takes a lot of tweeking to get everything set right and running.And it just takes one little tweek in the wrong direction or a needle valve to stick open to cause some major problems and lots of dead livestock.
