Serpant stat???

I bought a kenya tree coral frag today about 3inches long it was on a small piece of live rock that had like 4 zoa polyps on it, on the bottom after i put it in my tank i noticed like feeder arms coming out the bottom, the are white and black and very small and one looked longer and orange, and i took the frag out and looked there is a small crack in the rock where the arms are coming from , what is this thing and should I be scared to put it in my tank???

Probably just a micro-brittle star,or a bristle worm.Both are safe.

Nothing to worry about -- Yote got it right. They are very common hitch hikers and are cool to watch. Bet you'll see more if you look at your tank when it's dark.
