Server Slowdown

Sorry to everyone if you've had trouble accessing the website over the past week, or had pages loading a little slowly. It looks like the server the website is hosted on is reaching it's limit, but I've made some big changes to the mysql database over the past couple of days which I'm hoping should reduce the server load and speeds things back up again :D

It seems to have done the trick so far, so I'll keep monitoring it over the next 48h to make sure it's worked :)

Thanks Ian. I was getting pissed at my cable service. Good to know it wasn't them for once. :shock:

Those changes didn't make too much of an impact, so I've bought a 2nd server and moved some sites over from the old one to the new one. That has hugely lightened the load and seems to have made the site much faster :D There's also a new database backup in place which stores the data in 2 different places (as well as backups I make myself).
