Setting a new tank after a few years. Questions

Hey everyone. I've been out of the hobby for about 2 years and I really wanted to get back in it. I used to have a 75 gallon. I am planning on setting up a 35 gallon this time around (36x12x18). I wanted to know if some of my old equipment would be too powerful. I have a JBJ ocean stream kit 2x1600gph with wave controller (purchased 2 or 3 months before I shut down my aquarium,been sitting in storage since. I also have a hydor 750gph but it's not in the best condition. I have 2 protein skimmers. A coralife Superskimmer 125 and another one I bought to replace it because it kept emptying half the my tank on the floor. The other skimmer is BubbleMagus NAC5E hang on back skimmer. I would probably want to use that on on my 35 gallon if its not too much.

i wouldnt think you could over skim with a hang on. either way a little too much is better then not enough

I hsve that same Bubble Magus on my frak tank. I love it.
