should cleaner shrimp 'exoskeleton' be removed from water?

Dear All,

One of my cleaner shrimps has molted...since I am new to the salt water tanks, I am totally confused. I mean, does the 'exoskeleton' look like the real animal itself? Also, should I remove that from my tank or leave it be as 'food'? I mean, who would eat that?

Yes, the molt looks just like the actual shrimp...if you have a cuc in there, they'll take care of it for you, so no need to remove it.

Clean Up Crew.....CUC. yes they will or can eat it. I'd pull it myself.

It doesn't really matter if you leave it in or not. Your other animals will eat it.
