Should I add a small refugium to my 10gal nano reef???

My tank is about 3 weeks old and coming along nicely, I am beginning to see the diatome bloom. I would eventually like to grow some macro algae/seaweed...

Do you guys think that it'd be a good idea to buy or make a small refugium for my tank? Is it even worth it? Although it may be a bit excessive... it couldn't hurt...right? I was thinking about buying the pieces of glass or plexiglass that I need, and making a hang-on refugium.

Thoughts... suggestions?

I think any way you can increase the water volume of your tank is beneficial, especially on the nano tanks.

I think adding a small fuge would be a great thing for your tank.

It won't hurt to have one...you could also buy a hang on back(hob) filter and place some cheato in there.

Cool thank you. My LFS doesn't sell Chaeto... Do you know of any reputable sellers online?? I've tried searching for Cheato online before, and a bunch of the websites seem a little sketchy.
