or 150 Halide 48 T-5



250 isn't much more so I'm thinking that, will heat me alright?
will I be able to get any corals?

if you have room for something bigger i would go with something bigger. I did the same thing now i have a 36-80-and 180 Its only a matter of time before you decide you want something bigger, I would look for something that is used that they are looking to get rid of. you can find super good deals from people that are dying to get rid of thier tanks for whatever reason. hell i picked up my 180g fully setup (minus actenics) for not too much more than that

well in that case i would go with the 250, if your going to keep acropora and things like that i would just make sure your corals are really happy :)

I would definitely NOT get a 30 gallon tank with 250 watt metal halides. Your tank will boil. It looks like a complete set up, but I can't figure out how that tank would stay cool with that much light just a few inches from the top of the water...

If you decide to get the halides, you won't need a heater, you will need a chiller, which are really expensive.

I would go with the T5s.

so if the halides will raise the temp 4-6 degrees by themself won't I be fine?

On my tank, MH raised the tank temperature by 20 degrees, and that's with approximately 5 watts per gallon of light.
