    Im pretty partial to my T/C Encore in .50 cal its got the sweetest trigger out of any gun that I own.

    I've not fired an encore.Something about em just dont feel right to me.But I've got a CVA Omega in 45 that I love.Sweet,crisp trigger,right up there with my varmit rifle.And with 150 grains of American powder,it'll shoot 1/2" groups out to 150yds.
    Guess I need to load it up and carry it to the woods this weekend.Been a while since I've deer hunted with anything that goes boom anyway.

    im 21 and really want to purchase a weapon i also plan on trying to get a conceiled weapon licence

    what should my steps be

    this is one of my New yrs resolution lol

    First off go to the NRA website and join...no Really go do that now. Then google whatever county and state you live in followed by handgun laws. You have to have a FBI background check in new york not sure about texas, Im sure its probably easier there. If you have ever been convicted of a violent crime or a felony you can forget it.

    i might buy a handgun, i cant anyways because you have to be 21 to buy a handgun from a dealer although you can buy a handgun from a private citizen or receive it as a gift. ive already looked into this

    Every state is different in its CCW permits.I know in Georgia,you just take 30 bucks and go talk to the magistrate judge and do the background check.Tennessee it'll cost you around 300 bucks and you HAVE to take a 48 hour class,pluss the background check,Then you have to go to a fireing range and qualify.
    Texas,I have no idea about.

    If you want to enjoy your handgun right for long you NEED to support the NRA they ARE the gun lobby, they are the only people that are going to fight for you right to possess and carry firearms. Go to the site and read what they are about, if you like it join that is all that I can say.
