shutting down my 55 need help

taking down my 55 gallon and going to a 29 bowfront . i want to keep a few choice pieces of live rock fro my tank . the bad thing is there is aptaisia and mojanos. can i put the rocks in a bucket with a whole bunch of aptaisia x or is injecting them the only way

You have to apply the Aiptasia X directly to the oral disc of the anemones.
