Skimmer acting up....

I have a css65. I know it's not the best but pulls tons of crap out of the water. I empty the skimmer cup 1 every week in a half I guess.

I check my fuge and sump every night before going to bed and noticed that the skimmer cup would have like a half of inch of crap in it. When I check it the morning it is overflowing into the sump. It happened for the passed couple of nights, I havent adjusted the skimmer or anything. When I clean the cup out and turn the skimmer back on the bubbles go right to the base of the cup.
Cant figure it out. Any suggestions?????:frustrat:

Did you add anything to the water? Did you try a new kind of food?

nope, nothing different, I wondering if I should clean the pump. I haven't touched it since the move in november.

It might help to clean it Ray.
And check to make sure the piece the air lines on isnt clogged up.Mine would start filling the cup like that when it couldnt get enough air through the line.
