Skimmer Advice Please

Hi everyone, I bought a Seacolne 100 skimmer, but seems like it was not a good choice. Luckily still have the bill so its going back to the store. Any ideas on a better skimmer, I paid $79 for the seaclone and want to stay around the same price.....thanks

What would everyone say is sort of the best "next tier" protein skimmer if the Coralife is the best for this money...like in the 100-200 range?

I cant comment on the Berlins because I've never used one.
But I will say this.Skimmers are like salt.Everybody has their favorite.

I also highly recommend Octopus skimmers. Super quality for the price. Also good in that range is the Aqua C Remora Pro.

I have an aqua c remora pro, I can tell you it does the job! How good, I have no idea as I have nothing to compare it to, but I empty out the cup weekly and its got a pile of yuck in it!

Does anyone have the 125 version of this skimmer and if so coulf i please get a picture of what it would look in a sump/ref? If I turn a 29 gallon into a refugium would it be better to sit this thing inside or hang it from the outside, and are they loud? Thanks
