So I finally got my overflow and sump up and running, only problem is the skimmer just doesn't have any power in the sump and I have no idea why. The bubbles are only going halfway up the chamber, and they're very diluted.
My skimmer is air pump-powered, it's the Berlin Airlift 60 ( I know, not the best skimmer in the world). I've looked for kinks that may have gotten in the airline tubing during transfer at least 5 times now, and nothing. I've also played with the airflow a lot, at full power I'm still getting nothing.
It actually worked suprisingly well in my DT, I actually had to empty the cup every 5 days or so. So maybe I'm missing some really basic physics issue here, I really just don't know.
