I just was looking at my tank night scene and I noticed one of my stupid microhermits has a new shell! It's one of my cerith snails' shells! Thankfully, I don't really like the ceriths due to the fact that they are stupid and fall over.
I am concerned, however, that they are going to eventually take out one of my favorite big (mexican?) snails or my awesome trochus snails. I think tomorrow I'm going to try to bring a few of the hermits to the LFS to find a new home! A little bittersweet, because I think the hermits are cool, but I'm a snail fan.

Do you have a sump? If you do just throw em in there. They won't mess with the mexicans I don't think, at least they don't mess with mine. In fact the snails kinda run the crabs over or knock them off the rocks. My turbos are like the size of tennis balls tho.

My turbos are getting that big...
Good idea with the sump...once it's completed, I'll banish them to their chaeto prison.
