Snail? Slug? Beast? :)

I've noticed this snail-like thing in my tank a couple times, I have no clue what this thing is. It only comes out at night. Anyone know what this is?

These pictures aren't the greatest, but there wasn't much light to work with. I'm currently uploading a video of it to YouTube, might help a little more then these crappy pictures. I'll link it once it's done...

That's a stomatella snail, a very good cuc member

It looks like an abalone.

How big is it? If it's tiny, then stomatella. But it looks big in your pictures.

Looks like they have half a clam shell on their back. Weird looking.

It's about a half inch long.
