Snails reproduction

How do snails reproduce? One of my snails is just letting out some whitish stuff for quite a while-looked like sperm to me. Is it?

Some lay eggs and others release gametes(eggs and sperm-Biff taught me that)
That is most likely what it is.....what kind of snails?

it is silver shell that is short I'll find a picture to verify

And here Biff always saying Margaritas don't live long because they are a cold water snail.Maybe, you may see babies crawling around later on.Doubtful though since most of it becomes coral/invert food or die from getting trapped in a filter.

i found another one doing the same thing and they're doing it still and at the same time
