Can't resist. This seahorse (Sophia) is always at the front. She was coddled at the LFS after losing her mate. Afraid she's coddled here, too.

ok Reb, I could be totally wrong here, but are sure Sophia is a she???? I've got 4 seahorses. The she's stomachs stick out farther, males are skinnier.

Hi Charged! Yeah, pretty sure. She's a giant (about 7" tip to tip). I also have a regular mustang female (Fin) and she is probably more what one might expect to see.
Sophia has no pouch, just a great personality.
What do you have? Love to see.

I've always been told not to have the ponies in a community tank but, honestly, I think it improves their quality of life to have interesting tank mates. The passive fellows these two live with make a great combo.
A few years back, it was almost impossible to find tank raised seahorses in the LFS. Very heartbreaking. Impossible to feed, ill health. Fin has been with me for 2 years, Sophia just one. They are great fun.
