So there's this one nice sized rock that I got, that originally had: Apstasia, Curly Q anemone, and a lot of coralline.

Anyway, I've been hearing these loud clicking noises, almost like what my mantis shrimp does in the neighboring tank, but the noise is coming from the 70gal, I'm sure of it.
So I decided to take a look..I never found anything, but then I saw these small, Dime-or-smaller sized oyster/clam looking things that had these small green branches growing out of it. When I shine a light on them, they close, I touched them with a syringe and I can feel them push down and up. There are about 4 that I can see.

Any ideas? I can't get a picture, the lights just went off. And is it possible that I found the cause of the noise problem?

Sounds more like a pistol shrimp.

The sound always comes from the same place..I haven't seen anything yet. And I dipped all the rocks in freshwater before I put them in
