CAPTIVE CARE - Acclimates well to captivity, will greedily accept chopped fresh or frozen seafoods, other frozen preparations, freeze dried krill. One of the better fish for the aquarium as it does not grow as large as most groupers, will eat any fish it can swallow whole, as with all groupers maintain an adequate filtration system.
