spikes on astrea snails

my astrea snails are getting spikes on their shells and I do not know why, also a couple of them are growing their shells but it looks unbalanced, like the growth is not even.

Anybody know why? and is this good or bad?

here is a pic of the snails, it doesn't look anything like those stary astreas

Sen's right. Those are vermatid snails. You can pull the snail out and pinch them off if you like.
