Spots on my Naso

Recently added this guy to my tank and noticed that he grew spots. Any chance these are from brushing up against the frogspawn, stress induced, or am I looking at something worse here?

I am going to say stress. If hes eating, thats a good sign. Im in the same boat, as for size of tank, lots of folks will bash you for a 4ft tank. Keep an eye on him and give him some seaweed to graze on

Thanks for the quick reply. This was my first tang and I have been very nervous to introduce one. The 75 is becoming a reef and his home will be my new 180gal. Just very hesitant to toss him in there because I have heard how susceptible these guys are to ich. I don't want that in my new tank.lol..

If you mean those black spots ??? it looks more like he hit some rock work or has ben fighting with another fish. Do you have any other tangs in there with it ??

It looks like some kind of abrasion. If you don't think it's from another fish, he could have scraped himself on the rocks.

Unless you're treating him in the 75, he'll bring whatever he has with him into the 125. I'd move him sooner rather than later.
