SO, I tried turning off the feature that sends emails to me when there is a reply to a thread I subscribe to.... but they're still coming. How do I turn this feature off? maybe I'm doing it wrong... :)

Try this;
1. click on User CP
2. click on List subscriptions....view all
3. check the box on any threads there, then select No Email notification or delete

Even if you turn the option off, it will still send you emails for the ones you are already getting emails from

Tanked it only works on current ones that you respond to since choosing that feature.
If you subscribed to an old thread then you have to go in and unsubscribe or you will still get an email. It's a PITA. I just have all the old stuff go to junk but I still get emails too. We all had this problem a few months and Ian responded with the explanation.
So in other words, you will still receive email notifications on threads which you subscribed to before selecting no email notification. You would have to manually unsubscribe to the thread to eliminate that.

pm ian he can fix it for you. yes the delete only works on new threads all the old ones you suscribed to will still send you email but ian can take care of it.
