Strange Hole in Torch Coral

I've never had a problem with any of the heads on this coral. Today I looked in and all the heads were deflated and there was this strange hole where the mouth should be on the front head. Two of the heads have some stringy brown stuff coming out of them but the other doesn't have the stange looking mouth. What could this be?

Should the hole be that wide though? I've never noticed that it was that big before. Thanks, I'm constantly pulling it out. It sprouted from my live rock one day and never stopped.

+1 Hannah. It looks like its doing the #2. It will be just fine. The size of that hole is ok as well. It will open as close as needed.

the algae is Halimeda, you can almost judge your alk levels by the growth, and you just have to love the smell when you pull it out lol
