Strange mist from plate coral

My algae scraper creates a vibration and disturbed my green plate coral. I noticed he then let out a little whitish, blue-tinted mist. What was that?

He pee'd his pants...lol...it may be discharging it's poison in self defense, because it feels threatened when it feels the vibrations.

I've seen poo and this ain't it. Maybe I should get another and see if it will mate but all the funghia at the LFS were a lousy grayish color. Anybody ever seen these corals spawn in a tank?

Anybody ever seen these corals spawn in a tank?

The ones at my LFS breed like crazy. They are pretty prolific.
