Stupid Question....

My skimmer collects dry foam and water. The question I have is does the skimmer remove the salt as well? I'm just trying to figure out when I add for evaporation, which is just plain r/o water.

it does remove salt also. but if you are getting a real dry foam it will not be enough that weekly water changes wont take care of.

Yeah, the skimmer won't remove enough salt to change anything. Always add non-salt, fresh water to replace evaporated tank water or everything will die.
