Sundial snail

For the last few weeks, I've been wondering why my polyps and zoos were disappearing, well I finally know why...I found a strange shell in between the colony and pulled it out...after researching, I found out it was a sundial snail(not reef safe). Kinda mad at myself:frustrat:, cause I saw it there weeks ago, but just thought it was one of my other snails in the tank...
Anyone else ever have problems with these snails?...should I worry about more of them in the tank?...that was the only one that I saw in the tank. I placed it in the fuge, or should I take it out the system.

get rid of it! and I would check all of your zoa very good, keep an eye out for them. I get them on occasion when I don't iodine dip my corals before putting them into my tank.

Thanks, I thinks it's dead now, it's upside down in the same spot in the fuge where I placed it 2 days ago.

LOL...Thats the same thing that happened to me also. It was so cool looking at first.

Sun dial snails are really common hitch hiking predators. A freshwater or iodine dip of your zoas should take care of them.
