so i am looking at the maxspect gyre pumps and i like what i see, but i dont know if i can put this on my tank without a serious problem.- ie.blowing out the end of my tank. i have a 7ft by 2ft by 30in tank [265gal] it has a black plastic rim on top that is divided into 3 sections. i spoke to the manufacturer and they won't stand behind any tank without urobraceing. any opinions

I wasn't thinking that blowout would be an issue. I have the same size tank and will be getting the gyre in the not to distant future. Even though the water inside the tank will be more turbulent, it will not be anything the tank cannot handle. I've seen several tanks running multiple mp60s creating far more flow then the gyre.
