What color backgrounds does everyone prefer? I cant decide between black or blue

It doesn't matter once the corraline gets established....

I prefer black. It makes the colors of the coral and fish stand out better.

I went with a dark blue, almost black. Looking through the rocks in the tank gives the appearance of a "drop off" on the edge of a reef. It really adds depth to the perspective.

I have blue and I like it a lot. Doesn't make it as dark as black IMO.

lol +1 In all seriousness its gunna get covered in coraline unless you continually scrape it so why bother is my opinion.

+1 on the black. It just looks clean.

once the coraline establishes itself in the tank and becomes thick the different shades of purple you get becomes gorgeous...

I like black. It will eventually be purple but while you are waiting for that I prefer to see black. It makes the colors of your corals pop out more
