Tank question

Hello Everybody!!
I was wondering, for a marine aquarium, should I get a 40 gallon long or a 40 gallon tall?

I do believe that has a lot to do with preference. Do you want a tank that engulfs your arm when you have to move live rock or do you want something that only engulfs half of your arm? ;-)

Also, it depends on what kind of fish you want to keep. I've heard that tangs enjoy more horizontal swimming room than vertical swimming room, so a 40 long would work better for tangs.

A tang would not be suitable for any kind of 40 gallon tank. It all depends on the fish you want, how much room you have available, etc.

+1 before you put a tang in a tank smaller than 6 feet long you should try living in you closet for a week strait. :shock:
