Yeah I saw that on the news, it's a pet store in NYC that is importing these fish from Singapore to sell as novelties. My husband said, "What's wrong with that?" (he's a dumbass sometimes), and I said, "Well, say they get 20 tattooed fish in, how many fish didn't survive the tattooing process? The 20 that live through it are probably a very small percentage of the fish that they try it on". The LFS owner said on the news, "If a little kid walks into my store and wants to start keeping fish because he sees ones with hearts tattooed on it, I think that's wonderful. It's a wonderful way to get people interested in the hobby." Whatever happened to admire fish and other aquarium life for their natural beauty? Is it really necessary to tattoo them? My fish look pretty enough on their own.

He's not tatooed he was just born a UT fan. Not a bad idea for a fish tatoo though, in my opinion.
