I just got a Hanna digital phosphate tester from BRS, and this is quite possibly the best testing equip investment I've ever made. Second best being the Red Sea Reef Foundation Pro kit (Ca, Alk, & Mg).
I'm probably late to the game on this stuff, but wanted to throw this out there in case others haven't looked into these products yet.
That phosphate tester is awesome. I realized that, without GFO running my tank was holding at 0.05 ppm. Within an hour or two of feedings it was 0.07. I'm going to slowly turn my GFO reactor back on and see where that gets me.
The Red Sea test kit was the only one I've tried where I could actually see the color change I needed to get an accurate test result. Love it.
I don't give free advertisement unless I really like a product. I really like these. :)
Also... these are expensive up front, but the cost for reagents after you've purchased the initial kit is WAY less then you'd spend on other kits.
