I was in Southern California, middle of August. Got a call from a buddy that was feeding my dogs and tank. "Wade, your corals all look like they are dying or dead"!
Me: "Really, WTF? Are the lights on? Are the power heads on? Is the return pump returning water? Is the skimmer cup full and overflowing? "

John: " Lights ore on, all pumps are working, skimmer is no where near full. But your tank temp is reading 92 degrees"!

Me: "WTF? I left the A/C on because it was supposed to be well over 100 degrees this week."

John: " I turned your A/C off 3 days ago when I was here. I figured I would save on your electricity bill by turning it off while you were out of town"!

Needless to say I did not have a chiller at the time and ended up losing close to 2K worth of coral.

@mariobrothersleeve, hard to tell from the pic...was it tucked under or in that other coral??

@fastrd400 oh wow, that really sux....I will have to remember to tell any future tank sitter to not touch the thermostat, because I never would have thought of that.

Steve, that is my open brain coral trying to eat the nem. The foot of the nem is in the mouth of the brain.
