Just to let you all know we are all still safe over here in NZ

Our little part of the world hasn't fallen apart - so unless it happens in your time zone I think we are safe haha

    **Sigh of relief**

Well, I would think it would be during the Time zone that the Mayans lived in. So we still have around 8-10 hours I guess:mrgreen:

So I went outside today, looked to the sky, and something fell in front of me. I walked towards it, picked it up, and found that it was a collection of seven different styles of labia oris in a cellophane wrapper. Yeah, you heard me. A pack of lips. I guess we had it wrong.

I can see the Mayan stone carver chiseling at the stone calendar and he gets up to December 21st 2012 and he says to himself "my arm hurts and, uh, I'm getting sick of this job". He wanders off and drinks a cerveza, abandoning his job.

I figure the king said "Have someone work up a calendar for many years to prove the math and find the repeating star patterns". Then months later he is visiting the work site and sees the idiot still working on the calender and says, "Give that fool something else to do. We will never need to know a date in 2012. He has proven the pattern too many times. Tonight we cut out his heart and give it to the gods while it is still beating".

I once wrote a calendar program in Paschal and DOS that would of failed at year 2000...Like countless others taking computer science classes in those days. but ..LOL... had no idea at the time we were going to cause such a mess....that was not such a big deal either.

I recall people before Y2K storing up 12 months of canned foods in their basements and taking out loans they could never pay back. And then there was "the rapture".
