Things on my new live rock

I bought a new piece of rock recently. Lots of good stuff on it but some things I can't identify. Look specifically at the green shiny thing in the center of the photo. It has a reflection of the aquarium lights and my camera flash but it is dark green, very shiny and there are three of them on the rock. Also, scattered about are what looks like ball anemones. Is that correct?

The green thing in the center almost looks like a big ball of green bubble algae.

It is bubble algae. Remove it by hand, being careful not to pop the bubbles in your tank.

I do see the green bubble algae and ball anemones.The whole rock needs a good scrubbing.I also see mossy,turf like algae.

There is alot of algae on it but the turbo snails are eating it up so I figured I'd let them enjoy it. I also didn't want to disturb the colonies of feather dusters.

What should I scrub it with? I tried a couple of spots with a toothbrush and it didn't make much difference.

I have a brush use to scrub dishes(never use on dishes).If the turbos are eating it then don't worry about scrubbing the rocks just yet.

Is it hard like a rock or is it a soft bubble full of liquid??

Haven't touched it yet but now that it's been identified as bubble algae, I googled pics and it looks exactly the same.

The snails probably won't eat the bubble algae. You'll have to remove that yourself. :(

I have an emerald crab and he hasn't touched it so guess I'll be picking that nasty stuff off this weekend. I've done some searches on methods. Sounds like it's best to remove the rock from the tank during "surgery".

If you can, that is the best way to handle them. You don't want them popping in the tank.
