things on new macro algae

So I got some macro algae today(don't remember what kind) and I got a lot(10-20) of these guys on the clump of algae. Does this species get big, and should I remove them and put them into the main tank so they don't eat all my macro algae?

looks like a brittle star. there are normal ones that get big and dwarfs that stay small. I cant tell from the pic what you have. They are ok to stay in your fuge but you can throw a few in your DT if you want to see them there too. They will likely end up there sooner or later anyway.

With having live rock,you probably already have several of em in your main tank.

They won't eat the algae. They are really common hitch hikers in macroalgae. You don't have anything to worry about.
