Damn..yeah, it's all that mixing of warm and cold. We had snow and temps in the teens exactly one week ago today, then just 2 days ago it was 60F and basically shorts weather, then last night we had the high winds and strong rains (today the temp is actually not bad, but the strong winds blowing is really cold). Tomorrow, it's supposed to be low to mid 30s then flurries.

Stay safe down there, southerners! Whether you believe this is from global warming or the earth just naturally adjusting (yes, I know people who believe this; I'm somewhere in the middle), point is, there's no more normal to weather!

It was an interesting day yesterday. We had some strong wind through the night but nothing like last year.

We saw 60 degrees here the other day, followed by snow and ice. It's been very mild up here, we're about 20 inches of snow short so far this year.

I don't know if its climate change due to man or a natural shift that's been happening since the beginning of time. I'm not qualified to get into that argument and wont.
My main concern is that people recognize the changes and are prepared for it as best they can.

We literally had a 60 degree drop in weather yesterday. You could have gone out without a jacket in the morning, then by the time I got off of work, it was around 10 degrees. Below 0 with the wind chill.-

Yeah D.C. has been nuts with the weather. No tornadoes or anything. Just bizzare temperature changes.

We had flurries enough yesterday to accumulate a dusting, and this morning, we have lots of big fat snowflakes :D Too bad it's not sticking so well, but at least it's something. It's supposed to stop soon.

People in DC are weather-wussies. We get 2 inches at rush hour and the capital of the world's most powerful nation is paralyzed. They shut down the Federal government for the day after only 2 or 3 inches in the morning. Those of you who live in the DC area know this is not an exaggeration. I lived in Pittsburgh and after 6 inches of snow overnight they had every rode to the outer suburbs cleared by 8am.

Here in Chicago, it takes about 2 feet of snow to shut us down.

Totally :D But I don't care, since I work from home LOL Schools closed a week ago when we got barely an inch, and schools were delayed 2 hours last monday but I could understand that, because the roads were super icy (just walking to the bus stop was hard cuz of the layers of ice on the sidewalks).

I remember when Obama first took office, and he was surprised (being from Chicago and all) that schools were cancelled because of a couple of inches lol

I'd like to ship some of these folks from Chattanooga up to y'all in D.C.and Chicago. These people are here can't drive when it's dry. Let it get a bit damp or icy, and it ain't safe to get out. They forget that 4 wheel drive don't help you stop.
