I know most people run their lights for 8-10 hours.. My question is, i currently have an aquatic life light system, it has auto-programming for led blue lights, blue t5s, and the bright lights (marked as LED, 425/260, 700+ respectively)... As it is right now, i have the 425/460 blues come on in the morning for an hour before the 700s, and i let the 700s run for 10 hours, then those die out to allow the 425/460 to run for another hour, then the blue led's take over for a few hours..
im assuming this is how it was meant for them to operate (simulating moonlight into a sunrise, then a sunset after the 10 hours of main lights)
am i correct with this setup or should my total light cycle be 10 hours instead of just my 700s?
