To bioball or not to bioball??

I Have a 29BC that has been running for about 3 years. In the chamber in the back I have an Intank media basket with filter
floss and Chem pure I have another media basket that I thought of putting in the chamber and filling with bioballs. Good idea or not? Back in the day it was a good to have bioballs, now I read that it just adds nitrates to the tank?

Feed back would be great. Also any good nano sites or threads you guys suggest

If you have live rock in your tank thete is no need for bio balls.

I have a bag of bioballs I took out of my tank about 2 years ago and never looked back. If you have live rock, as fast suggested, then there is no need for bioballs. They are more of a nitrate liability than they are worth, in my opinion.
