    Howdy from San Antonio.

I've just recently inherited a 55gal glass tank from my nephew. He had it set up for fresh water and was supposedly converting it to salt. But, the equipment he had acquired to this point is practically useless as I've found by looking in forums such as these and talking to a friend who has been a reefer for over twenty years. Any help and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I'm just happy to be here!

I've been reading and will continue to read. Thanks all! I'm sure specific questions are to come! I haven't even put RO in the tank yet so I will be taking it slow. Nice to see there's plenty of support for a newb.
