Toxic soft corals

Live Rock

Reefer
Hi everyone, I was wondering if I can keep multiple "toxic" soft corals (cabbage, and toadstool) if I put a mechanical filter with activated carbon right next to the corals.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Most "Toxic" soft corals, are in most cases only toxic to LPS or mainly SPS corals. Most softies can't hurt other softies through "Chemical Warfare". If your placing softies with other softies, just make sure that they have plenty of space from one another. IE: A Colt Coral will happily kill a Toadstool if given the right opportunity to touch it.

You should be ok, just make sure you keep fresh carbon, do regular scheduled water changes, and have good flow. I have multiple softies, tons of lps's, and a handful of sps's with no issues. So it can be done. :)
