Tracyphillia "Open Brain" - She is Slowly bleaching

"She" because it looks just like Marilyn Monroe's lips.

It started when two fish died under the rocks and I got a little mini-spike. Also had a temp flucuation of 4 degrees in a few hours. I did a 50% change and chems are good BUT this sucker is still just slowly bleaching. I had her high on the rock right under the 150 watt MH and I'm thinking it was too much light. The LFS said low to moderate flow and moderate to high light. Live aquaria said bottom placement! I moved her down. Am I wrong with this?

My open brain is thriving like crazy on the sand of my biocube HQI. Definitely think she would be better off on the bottom.

That sux Sen.But like Biff said, with a little TLC it can come back.
Take this with a grain of salt. But I been told several times by the owner of my LFS ( who has never steered me wrong ) that adding a drop of iodine daily ( in that size tank ) will help the corals regain their colors.
