Transition from Tap Water to R/O Water

I began my saltwater aquarium 3 months ago using tap water. Now I have minimal algae issues and have decided to start using R/O water. Will it be beneficial to just use R/O water during topoffs and water changes, or should I empty it and start over?

Better to just start using it IMO. If you do a 100% water change, you have potential of starting your cycle all over again. Which you dont want to do since you have already been through it.

That's what I was thinking also. Will the R/O Water eventually replace all of the "crud" left over from the tap water in my tank?

Over time, it will get it down to negligable levels.

Try a 50% water change.
