trash can full of live rock?

can i fill up a big plastic trash can full of live rock and sync it to my system? or like a big plastic "tupperware" storage container? i think the storage container would be better because more rock would get light. i wanna get more rock in my system but im pretty much outta room. im gonna run the water back and forth with a couple of maxi jets.

Make sure you get a sturdy bin! I recently had 30g of water gushing out of the side of my bin that split from too much water pressure :mrgreen:

i have a rubbermaid 40 gal garbage can for my water changes
fill it full and there is no visable bulge
